The Shelf Awards 2013 are almost here. Every year since they began back in 2001 they have helped a new generation of talent to get started in the creative industry – over 140 graduates in fact. And one of things of which we are most proud is that The Shelf Awards have always been free to enter, both for the graduates themselves and their universities. And it’s thanks to our supporters, who donate time, expertise and financial help, that we are able to keep them free. So we would like to say a very big thank you to the following supporters of The Shelf Awards. Continue reading »

With planning underway for The Shelf Awards 2013 a topic we continue to hear about is creative placements or internships. Every agency has their own way of doing them but what works best? What is best for the creative graduates? What is best for the agencies? We would welcome feedback from creative graduates and agencies with observations and ideas. What have you seen that has worked well? What have you seen that hasn’t worked well? And what would you like to see? All feedback will be treated in confidence and will really help to shape better placements in the future. Please drop us a line with yours.
